METEN
The Mission
LAL is an established teacher training centre for Cambridge CELTA and DELTA courses. In 2017, we were approached by METEN, a large English language teaching organisation in China who were looking to improve the quality of their training services. A collaboration ensued resulting in the upskilling of scores of METEN’s teachers and the establishment of METEN’s own CELTA training centre in Shenzhen.
The Delivery
In the initial stage LAL ran four week courses for Chinese teachers, while planning for the establishment of METEN’s own CELTA training centre. LAL’s teacher trainers guided and advised Meten throughout on all aspects of the process which has assisted Meten in its objective to become the leading provider of English language training in the Peoples Republic of China.
